DIRTX INDUSTRIES FRAME GRIP TAPE CRF 250/450 06-20
The DirtX Industries Frame Grip Tape is specifically engineered for bubble-free adhesion to motorcycles, snowmobiles, industrial equipment, and other surfaces including polyethylene, polypropylene, TPO, polyolefins, and metals.

The friction tape sticks to the frame helping with riding technique, rider's form and traction on the area of contact. Used by the most of the Professional and Amateur riders everyday.

Proudly made in USA.

HOW TO APPLY THE GRIP TAPE

1. Make sure to clean your frame with an oil and dirt remover. If your frame has any of kind of oil remaining the grip tape will not stick to the surface.

2. Dry and remove any excess of your desired cleaning product (Step 1) from the frame.

3. Apply some heat on the grip tape before and after the application using a heat such as blow drier or heat gun

Disclaimer: Do not leave the heat for too long or use the heat to close. It may melt the grip tape.

    Nice looking grip tapes

Posted by Jarrod on Dec 23rd 2020

I installed these tapes on my ‘17 CRF250X to protect the frame more so than to help grip myself to the bike. I tend to ride very “lose” around my bikes so I don’t know they’ll help me in that way. They do look very nice. I cleaned the frame with some ammonia based window cleaner then a scotchbrite pad. I warmed both the frame and tape a bit with a hair dryer and stuck them fast. They are cut very nice and fit well. I picked the gray color to blend in with the aluminum finish and at a quick glance you barely notice they’re even there. I gave them four stars only because I haven’t ridden with them yet to see how they’ll hold up in the elements, we have a foot of snow on the ground right now, but so far I’m very pleased.
